Darcy DeMarco
I have been writing since the fourth grade, and was elated to find Suite 101. I have written for newspapers and magazines on both coasts, and enjoy writing on a variety of topics. I currently live in Las Vegas, Nevada, and have been writing for the internet for about three years. I also enjoy reading - right now, I'm reading "Water for Elephants," - and like to read good fiction, light romance novels, and suspense novels. I also keep an illustrated journal, and two or three writing books. Being in Las Vegas, I go to shows upon occasion, most recently "Barry Manilow: Music and Passion." I might even take up writing for Suite 101 about some of the shows and other experiences I have found here in "Sin City." I go out dancing nearly every week with friends, and see movies. I especially like the Metropolitan Opera's broadcast of operas at local movie theaters. So far, I've seen "Romeo and Juliet," "Manon Lescaut," and "Macbeth." Life is good; I try to remain optimistic.
